This was a pioneering book on magic with tricks by T. Nelson Downs, Charles Bertram, Chas. O. Williams and many others. Included superb photographs. Scarce edition of one of the famous (or infamous) "Yellow Peril" series of books from C. Arthur Pearson. Full of great tricks and fascinating magic adverts from the time. Condition: Fair/poor. As is typical for this series the spine paper is lost and the boards have detached. The is wear, creasing and foxing to the pages and boards. A good candidate for being rebound.
