This highly unusual magic book combines a fairy tale with a conjuring performance. The intention of Hoffmann was that the story would be told with the tricks accompanying it. The book was not reprinted and is now very hard to find. It has beautiful illustrations from H. L. Shindler.
 
Condition: Fair, a worn copy with marks and wear to boards and spine, previous owner's sticker to front endpaper, internal condition good with some yellowing to pages and occasional foxing.
