This fascinating book tells the history of London's Bartholomew Fair. It is of particular interest to students of magic history as it describes many early magic and allied performances. It also includes beautiful engravings of many of these performers including Fawkes. This is the sought-after 1880 edition featuring a superb gilt reproduction of the Fawkes print on the front cover.
