This was a pioneering book on card magic with contributions from Paul Valadon and Charles Bertram among others. Included superb photographs. Scarce edition of one of the famous (or infamous) "Yellow Peril" series of books from C. Arthur Pearson. Full of great tricks and fascinating magic adverts from the time. Condition: Fair/poor (though good for one of this series). Unusually it is still bound with boards attached, paper on spine is almost entirely missing, as is standard for these, boards have wear and marks, pages browned with occasional marks.
